Dramatic Ambulance Flip: Indy’s Pike Township Incident Update
we’ve got an update on a recent incident involving an ambulance in Pike Township, Indianapolis. Thankfully, there were no serious injuries, but it’s quite the story. Let’s dive right in.
The Pike Township Fire Department recently responded to a dramatic incident. Here’s the scoop: an ambulance from Pike Township found itself in a pickle when it got into a collision on Indy’s northwest side. The good news is, no one was seriously hurt in the crash.
The ambulance, known as unit 63, was dispatched for what was initially reported as a car fire on 86th Street. It all happened around noon on November 12th. Can you believe it? A seemingly routine call turned into something quite extraordinary.
As the ambulance was on its way, heading through the intersection of West 86th Street and Michigan Road, things took a wild turn. Another vehicle crossed the intersection, and bam! It collided with the ambulance, causing the ambulance to flip onto its side. It was like something out of a movie!
Now, here’s the amazing part – the driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash didn’t sustain any injuries. Talk about being lucky! But what about the brave EMT and paramedic who were inside the ambulance? Well, they were taken to Ascension St. Vincent Hospital for precautionary reasons, but it seems they’re doing okay and don’t appear to have any significant injuries.
